The disappearance of the young American Zailey Unidad Flores in the city of Tijuana, Mexico, is a mystery.
The last time she had contact with her mother, Me Belle, was on January 12, when she reported that she was at the Mexican border.
Since then, no one has known the whereabouts of the 21-year-old, originally from Las Vegas, Nevada.
On January 19, the agent of the Public Ministry of the Baja California State Prosecutor’s Office, Mario Alberto Rodríguez García, received a complaint for the crime of forced disappearance to the detriment of Ricardo de la Torre and Zailey Unidad Flores.
Due to this situation, the FBI in Las Vegas issued a search file for Zailey Unidad Flores, since January 31, requesting that if anyone knew of her, they could contact the FBI or the US embassy.

As far as is known, the young woman had entered Mexico aboard this Jeep truck, accompanied by her partner, Ricardo de la Torre.
Later, he claims they had an argument, he returned to California, and Zailey stayed in Tijuana.
But a person who said he had the young woman safe and sound from her, requested 500 dollars, in exchange for handing her over, requesting a deposit in the name of Nelly Itzel Nava Cortés.
Despite this situation, officially, the Baja California State Attorney’s Office has not reported on the progress of the disappearance of this young American.
